Common questions
What do you need to quote my shipment?
Pick-up and delivery city with postal/ZIP code, number of skids, total weight, dimensions if non-standard, commodity, ready date and any extras such as liftgate, appointment or residential delivery. Tell us your preferred currency (CAD or USD).
How fast is cross-border delivery?
Many of our key lanes from the GTA into New York, New Jersey and the Northeast deliver next business day. Transit time depends on the lane, border processing and appointment windows — we confirm it with your quote.
Do you handle customs?
Our customs desk files ACE and ACI eManifests and coordinates PARS/PAPS with your customs broker. You will need a licensed customs broker for clearance; we work with all major brokers.
How do I get a status update?
Use the tracking form or email info@arcatrans.com with your PRO, BOL or PO number. We reply with the latest location and ETA.
When do I receive the POD and invoice?
Signed proof of delivery and the invoice are emailed shortly after delivery. Billing questions go to operations@arcatrans.com.
